An Epic Hero of Greek Mythology
Who is an epic maven? An epic whizz reflects traits determine by society, fights for a portentous cause, is superhuman, practically has divine ancestry, and often faces an epic journey or challenge. Keeping these theatrical roleistics in mind, when version the Odyssey, it is hard to deny the picture of such qualities in the character of Odysseus. Facing a colossal number of challenges ranging from dealing pleasantryh genus Cyclopes to sneaking back into his hometown of Ithaca to run into all of the suitors for his wife Penelope, Odysseus maintains a sense of heroism passim the entire book, regardless of how dash of a task he faces. Motivated by the intrust to return home, the journey he endures allows him to grow into the hero he is thought to be, becoming wiser on the appearance and having enough bravery to embrace any curse thrown his way. There ar people who argue against Odysseus as a hero, disputing his judgment and fetching into account the selfish or egotis tic actions that light-emitting diode to the disbursal of his men. However, the severity with which he accomplishes and meets genuine of those characteristics of a hero, mentioned earlier, outweighs the negative actions he may have taken.
